You keep writing,
like a madman.
Ah, but poets are not just mad,
they also speak nonsense.
They inspire others,
but remain lost in their own fantasies.

Take a poet, make him a Chief Minister,
hand him the Prime Minister’s chair.
Make him a Lieutenant General,
give him the title of Commander,
station him at the borders,
entrust him with the nation’s defense.

Then watch—
all his inspiration will seem like mere nonsense,
his soaring flight will come crashing down,
and the one who once lived in dreams
will be crushed under the weight of reality.
